Many women hear the word “investment” and immediately switch off !!

We either think “that doesn’t apply to me” or we just don’t understand it and feel overwhelmed by something that we don’t know and so ignore it.

Our research shows that most women do not believe that they have any investments (savings is different but we’ll come back to that) but if you have any ownership in a house or you have superannuation or unit trusts then you are already an investor.

In this e-book you’ll learn what the difference is between savings and investment, how to get the best return on the savings you have, how to develop a savings habit, and we’ll introduce you to the next step beyond saving which is investment.

Here we’ll look at Property as investment, introduce you to stocks and shares and Bonds. We’ll also introduce you to the concept of Alternative Investments and Ethical Investments.

You may choose to never venture into investments and there’s nothing wrong with that decision- we would like to give you the tools, though, to at least know what investments are about so that it’s no longer a mystery and so that you can make an informed choice about whether

What's the difference between savings and Investments?

Savings are indeed a form of investment. The principal is that you put your money away somewhere in the desire that it grows. But we’re intentionally going to separate out the saving element of investments and look at it as a standalone area because many women are totally comfortable with savings but feel that investment is a risky, unfamiliar and often male-dominated world. So we’re going to lead you through the world of savings and then start to introduce the world of investment, hopefully in a way that demystifies it and gives you some knowledge and confidence so that you can decide whether you feel your money is working as effectively for you as it can.

If you have it in a savings account somewhere you will have the original capital you deposited PLUS any interest that your account.
