What's the difference between savings and Investments?
Savings are indeed a form of investment. The principal is that you put your money away somewhere in the desire that it grows. But we’re intentionally going to separate out the saving element of investments and look at it as a standalone area because many women are totally comfortable with savings but feel that investment is a risky, unfamiliar and often male-dominated world. So we’re going to lead you through the world of savings and then start to introduce the world of investment, hopefully in a way that demystifies it and gives you some knowledge and confidence so that you can decide whether you feel your money is working as effectively for you as it can.
If you have it in a savings account somewhere you will have the original capital you deposited PLUS any interest that your account.
